Comrades,

                      Complying with your decision to entrust us with the responsibility of running the office of our beloved Association, The office bearer body has completed the Hand over and takeover of the office. In this first communication from office we thank all the members for participating in the electoral process and sending a message that the officer class of The Bank still holds unshaking belief on concept of trade unionism and stands with its leadership in engaging with the board appointed Management and other concerned quarters to develop a smooth and progressive relationship amongst stakeholders of the industry. We also thank the comrades in election committee who despite various constraints performed the assigned task very well and to the satisfaction of contestants’ and general membership. We are also humbled by the dedication shown by membership who travelled long tortuous distances to exercise their democratic right. This very dedicated belief of membership has kept flame of trade unionism burning lighting our path towards a better future. By expressing your support to our vision of running the office of The Association you have put an additional responsibility on our shoulders and we are hopeful that we will be able to come up to your expectations. We want to inform you that we have already initiated a limited engagement with concerned quarters and will continue to do same till elections of AIJKBOF are held. We are hopeful that after a new office of AIJKBOF takes over we alongwith other constituent units will take further this engagement for resolution of the issues which fall within domain of AIJKBOF.

            We will like to put on record that we are proud to be representatives of a workforce who despite

1. The odds of safety concerns in a conflict situation
2. Stiff targets of credit delivery under Government sponsored schemes
3. Keeping banking services available in pandemic situations

 has never lagged behind in keeping public interest over and above personal interest. We also reiterate on behalf of you that we are committed to continue with same zeal and keep the channels of banking services functional cooperating with other stakeholders of industry hence playing our important role in socio economic development of masses. However at same time we expect our management to take measures for

1. Creating a stress free working environment for our members
2. Creating a safe and healthy working environment for our women comrades and
3. Creating a healthy industrial relationship by adherence to national/local agreements reached with our apex level representative organisations.

On the organizational level we are committed to create an infrastructure for nurturing district level leadership and detailed information will be forwarded to you shortly. Again the office of The Association reiterates to be proactive responding to your suggestions, grievances and counsels every time.
