CIRCULAR

Dear Members,

An extraordinary joint meeting of office bearers of Jammu & Kashmir Bank Officers’ Association Kashmir, Executive Committee Members of JKBOA, Central Committee Members and office bearers of All India J & K Bank Officers’ Federation from Kashmir Unit was held at Srinagar today. Pertinently, scores of trade union activists from all the districts of Kashmir division also attended the said meeting wherein threadbare discussions on the following already circulated agenda points were held:

1. Recent crisis and developments in the Bank and their impact on working.
2. Measures to safeguard the interests of the Institution.
3. Impact of ongoing investigations on the membership and their legitimate protection.
4. Issues presently faced by the employees in day to day working.
5. Roadmap to secure future, wellbeing and welfare of the members.

All the participants unequivocally resolved that the employees of the Bank cutting across religious, regional and geographical lines need to stand united at this crucial time to defeat the ill designs of all those elements working against the very existence of the Bank. It has been placed on record that no one will be allowed to fiddle with our beloved organization and we are committed to safeguard and protect our institution at all costs and under all circumstances, come what may!

The participants after conclusion of discussion on the agenda, passed some important resolutions, besides a number of vital decisions were arrived at unanimously. The decisions taken and resolutions adopted in the meeting are mainly concerning the Bank, future of the members, their welfare and wellbeing, besides to secure the legitimate rights of all the employees of the Bank in general and the members of Jammu & Kashmir Officers’ Association in particular.

The details of all the resolutions adopted and decisions taken in the meeting are being separately circulated to keep the membership updated regarding the developments.

It is reiterated for the information of all the members that JKBOA Kashmir has recently launched its website and all the members are humbly requested to share their honest feedback, suggestions, issues, grievances etc. by accessing the website at www.jkboakashmir.com so as to add further value to functioning of the Association.
